Most games in this genre would limit the gem types to around 5. With this game we completely smash this limit into pieces with around 116 sets of 3 distinct characters that can be connected together to score higher points and gain more points.
I will be accepting people into the alpha program as I have space. I need to stress test some of the systems and the game itself. This will be a real testing alpha not a marketing alpha. This means the app is still being developed and your input will help shape the final app!
You will be able to send challenges to friends to beat your score and your friend will get presented with the same characters you where in the same order and they can try to beat your score!
You will be able to do a real time face off where you are battling against a friend and you can try to mess them up!
From the beginning of this games design I wanted it to teach people to read japanese how ever. That being said it was extremely important to me that I do not put the educational elements before the gameplay because there are so many games that are very educational but completely neglect the gameplay!
The game is designed to watch every move you make and learn how well you have learned the different symbols. This allows the game in learning mode to present you with a set of characters designed to strengthen your weaker points and reinforce your strong ones.
Mobile this game will be available on as many mobile platforms as I can manage!
• Kanaji will also have tools for real human japanese teachers to allow their students to join a "class".
• When a Japanese teacher has their students in their class the app will tell them in real time where there students are weak or strong. This will allow the japanese teacher to focus their efforts on any kana the class is weak on.
• In classroom mode Japanese Teachers will also be able to pick a set of kana for one student to practice or a group or the whole class.
